  • How many treatments will I need?
    Most clients require weekly lymphatic massages for 3-4 weeks and can then change to fortnightly massages as well as doing their self drainage sequence each day at home. For detoxification and weight loss clients, they may require more sessions.
  • Is Lymphatic Drainage Massage Painful?
    When receiving a lymphatic massage, you should be able to feel each stroke from your therapist. We use the Chelsey Jean Lymphatic Massage Gloves in every massage session that ensures we reach the surface lymph as well as the deep lymph.

What do I wear during a lymphatic massage?
    It is best to wear loose-fitting underpants for your lymphatic massage. No bra is required.
  • 
How does Lymphatic Drainage Massage help people who are unwell?
    People with a compromised immune system are susceptible to infections and illnesses. The removal of lymph nodes or any conditions that damage the lymphatic system can lead to lymphedema, where excess fluid collects in tissues causing swelling. This in turn causes a blockage of the lymphatic system. Lymphatic massage can reduce swelling and improve circulation throughout the lymphatic system.
  • Is it ever too late to begin Lymphatic Drainage?
    No. Your body is always accumulating toxins and wastes. Having a lymphatic massage will help the drainage and the healing process to begin.
  • Is lymphatic drainage massage safe for pregnant women?
    Lymphatic massage is safe and encouraged during pregnancy in most circumstances. Regular manual lymphatic drainage can be beneficial if you’re suffering from swollen feet or water retention.
  • How often can I use the Cocoon?
    Depending on the reason for use, the Energy Cocoon can be used anywhere from daily for chronic conditions to monthly maintenance sessions. This is best discussed with your therapist when they are working out your individual treatment plan.
  • Can I use the Cocoon while pregnant?
    As we have not used pregnant women in any testing, we will have to say no, especially to using any of the heating functions as well as the vibration. We recommend a lymphatic massage and use of our circulate compression system for pregnancy. Breastfeeding is fine however lots of water needs to be consumed to keep up milk supply.
  • Are there any size restrictions?
    Yes. The maximum height to fit inside the cocoon comfortably is 185cm, we can add a knee pillow for those a little taller and the width maximum is 70cm
  • 
What do I wear?
    Bring your loose-fitting long clothes that are comfortable and not restrictive. As you will be jiggling with the vibration, we don’t want any tight undies, bra or pants. Allow the lymph and sweat to flow freely! Or you may simply wear underwear as you are laying on towels.

How often should I have a IR Press session?
    Typically, 1-2 sessions per week
  • 
What should I do during my IR Press session?
    Just relax. Sleep if you wish. Listen to the music and breathe in the essential oils. This session is your time to Relax, Repair, Recover & Rejuvenate.

What will I wear during my EMS IR Press session?
    You are fully clothed and assisted by a trained technician who helps you into the suit that applies the treatment.
  • Are there any contraindications to having a EMS IR Press session?
    Heart disease, especially if increased blood flow is detrimental, e.g., congestive heart failure or uncontrolled high BP Pregnancy Acute infection of the affected limb, e.g., cellulitis Acute/chronic bronchitis Deep Vein Thrombosis Fractures Electronic medical implants
  • Are there any side effects after a IR Press session?
    Side effects are very similar to a massage or Lymphatic Therapy, e.g., increased urination, bowel motion, and headache. We suggest drinking at least 1-2 glasses of water before each session to get the full effects and 1-2 glasses post-therapy. The body will be in detoxification mode and may get dehydrated.
  • How many IR Press sessions are recommended?
    The number of FLOWpresso sessions recommended will depend on the person and their reason for having FLOWpresso™ sessions. Our recommendation is to have a minimum of three to six sessions.
  • Where and how will my IR Press treatment take place?
    You will be in one of our private treatment rooms. You lie horizontally on a treatment table with your feet, legs, abdomen, and arms enclosed in the FLOWpresso suit. We offer headphones, an eye mask, and relaxing essential oils to enhance your FLOWpresso session.
  • 
How long is a IR Press session?
    A FLOWpresso session for an adult lasts between 35 and 45 minutes. Still, we recommend allowing a full hour to account for the time it takes to get in and out of the suit and adjust pressure and temperature settings to each individual. Children under 14 will have a shorter session.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or gif in my FAQ? (Demo)
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Enter the app’s Settings 2. Click on the “Manage FAQs” button 3. Select the question you would like to add media to 4. When editing your answer click on the camera, video, or GIF icon 5. Add media from your library.
  • How do I add a new question & answer? (Demo)
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Click “Manage FAQs” button 2. From your site’s dashboard you can add, edit and manage all your questions and answers 3. Each question and answer should be added to a category 4. Save and publish.
  • How do I edit or remove the “FAQ” title? (Demo)
    You can edit the title from the Settings tab in the app. If you don’t want to display the title, simply disable the Title under “Info to Display”.
  • What is an FAQ section? (Demo)
    An FAQ section can be used to quickly answer common questions about you or your business, such as “Where do you ship to?”, “What are your opening hours?” or “How can I book a service?” It’s a great way to help people navigate your site and can even boost your site’s SEO.
  • What if I have a question?
    You can contact Wendy at any time with your questions. There is also a monthly Zoom call where you can get support from Wendy.
  • When does the program start?
    The program begins on January 1st, 2025. From this date the modules will be delivered weekly. However you can join the program at any time.
  • Do I need to work on this weekly?
    You can go at your own pace throughout the program. You have lifetime access to all information. However we recommend to get the best results you work on one module per week for 12 weeks to fully integrate the learnings.
  • What if I need extra help and support?
    If you need extra assistance and support Wendy can advise the right service to help your concerns. You have the option to book the required session with Wendy for a discounted rate.
